A Short Film
Logline
When an aspiring filmmaker is mistakenly double-booked into an intimate Hollywood dinner, a simple misunderstanding spirals into paranoia, exposing how easily insecurity can twist coincidence into conspiracy.
Synopsis
At a carefully curated dinner in Silver Lake, struggling writer/actor David pitches his latest project to Margaret, a polished creative executive, and her husband Javier, while his rising-actress girlfriend Izzy works to keep the evening on track. Then David Greenberg arrives by mistake — another actor, same age, same industry, same type, but easier in his own skin and quietly more successful. He is everything David fears made flesh.
As polite discomfort sours into professional resentment and jealousy, David begins connecting every glance and every old slight into evidence of something larger, aimed squarely at him. When Javier is pulled into the same warped logic, the table stops running on facts. Social performance collapses into accusation, accusation into violence, and the night reaches a final, irreversible consequence no one can take back.
